Check-In
Once you arrive and sign in at the front office, you’ll be assigned an estimator who will personally guide you through the process.
Vehicle Inspection
The estimator will meet you at your vehicle, ask for your keys, and take a photo of the VIN and odometer for insurance purposes. Together, you’ll review the damage, and the estimator will take photos for documentation.
Estimate Preparation
Back in the office, the estimator will create a detailed estimate and explain everything clearly, including any unfamiliar terms. This ensures you fully understand the repair process.
Scheduling Repairs
After reviewing the estimate, we’ll schedule your repair appointment, order the necessary parts, and take care of everything from there.
Our goal is to make the process as smooth as possible and get you back on the road quickly. When you pick up your car, it’ll look like the accident never happened—good as new!

Marathon Auto Body and Repair is seeking an experienced, efficient, and detail-oriented Automotive Mechanic to join our growing team in Indianapolis, IN! If you’re skilled and motivated to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, we want to hear from you! 🚗
Key Responsibilities
✅ Diagnose, repair, and perform maintenance on a variety of vehicle makes and models with accuracy and efficiency.
✅ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including cleaning up before and after each shift.
✅ Ensure timely and high-quality service to meet our same-day service goals.
✅ Professionally communicate with customers about repairs, estimates, and timelines, and collaborate effectively with team members.
Requirements
⚙️ Proven experience as an automotive mechanic (required).
⚙️ Previous shop experience is a plus, providing familiarity with professional repair environments.
⚙️ Must be efficient, detail-oriented, and possess strong problem-solving skills.
⚙️ A strong work ethic and ability to stay productive during slower periods.
⚙️ Experience with engine repairs, general maintenance, brake systems, and bodywork is a plus.
Work Schedule
🕒 Monday through Friday, with weekends as needed.
Compensation
💵 Pay is based on efficiency and experience.
